of EXCEL I taped in '86,
'87, '88 & '89 -->suicidal
ONE OF THOSE TAPINGS OCCURED AT A
SMALL RECREATION CENTER IN near
DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES called
HOOVER PARK
There was only a few PUNK events at this venue
but they were very hardcore small punk shows
EXCEL was at one gig, one of the great
Suicidal Bands. I remember SHAUN,
Excel guitarist, blazing
away to the very young local
PUNK audience. It was very
intense and lots of fun.
There were some other bands
like F.E.S. and Santa Claus, I
tink they were from San Diego.
Speaking of EXCEL I taped
them at the BALBOA THEATER
and FENDERS also...
and at the COUNTRY CLUB in
Reseda, in the Valley. We'll
talk about that venue later, some time.
