THE SCENE IS LIFE why watch
a movie about it, and of course
why read about OUR carvorting
and I do not mean I/WE are acting
I think what we go/are going through
IN THE DAILY droll is why we
do not need to see/read about
this SCENE.

THOUGH I can see NOW

I mean when you walked into the
OLYMPIC AUDITORIUM
downtown you were in a different world
punk gangs as bouncers
smells not of incense but CLOVE CIGARETTES
seats, well they were up above the stage "ring area"
with lots of space to stand/SLAM/listen/WATCH
You were sweating?
NO THE WHOLE PLACE WAS SWEATING
until it was time to go outside to the
steamy cold and the LAPD
always 3 to 4 bands played with the last band
hopefully being some punk foreigners like
EXPLOITED *
AND THE OTHERS A HEFTY SMATTERING
of OC/SOUTHBAY/NARDCORE/
SUICIDAL/LA&VALLEY PUNK BANDS
TSOL / BLACK FLAG / ILL REPUTE /
ENTROPY / WEIRDOS & WASTED YOUTH /
and you could talk to band members
if you weren't slamming with them *
and these fleeting few hours ARE PIERCED
INTO OUR BRAINS FOREVER the drama
in simple musical beats and RAGE
kenetic movements abounds even from
those MOTIONLESS
I'm Sorry I must go back in thought...
